Come and Enjoy a Night of Celebrating the Arts! ![]() Live entertainment- including music, spoken word, theatre and dance performances with emcee Jim Dees. A Fundraiser for the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council Endowment Fund A sampler of the Arts in Oxford Raffle grand prize: Yokna Bottoms Farm 2012 Full Food Share! With other items ranging from free dance classes to works of art, jewelry, and more. Come out to the Powerhouse (corner of University & South 14th Street) October 18th from 5-7pm and learn about what the Arts can do for you! Purcahse your raffle ticket here Art for sale includes work by: Jere Allen, Jo Ann Allen, Bill Beckwith, Katherine Fields, Mike Stanton, Rebekah Flake, Allan Innman, Marilyn Innman, Erin Abbott Kirkpatric, Benny Melton, Lee McCartney, Andi Bedsworth, Rebekah Flake, Laurie Fisher, Modine Bolen, Brooke White, William Andrews, Erin Rasberry Napier, Anne Scott Barrett, Lyn Kartiganer, Maude Schuyler Clay and more. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event for $5 or in advance at the Powerhouse community arts center or online at www.oxfordarts.com. Raffle prizes include a Double Decker gift package, an Oxford Film Festival gift package, Oxford Ballet Association free ballet clases, Deborah Kaye's School of Dance classes, Theatre Oxford tickets, a Scott Baretta Mississippi Blues Book, Siplada Designs Jewelry $50 gift certificate, Hinge 4-top table tickets for the next performance, Oxford Center for Cosmetic and General Dentistry certificates for teeth whitening and a 2012 food share from Yokna Bottom Farms and more great prizes. Food and beverages have been generously donated by Papa John's Pizza, LB's Meat Market, Honey Bee Bakery, Chick-Fil-A, High Point Coffee and art patrons. Music will be provided along with the art sale in the gallery room from 5-7:30 p.m. University Museums will have children's activities and Holli's Sweet Tooth will provide face painting.
