September Art Crawl, scheduled for Tuesday, September 27th, will feature a new twist to keep the art crawl fresh. Artist, Andi Bedsworth, has donated a piece of art to the Art Crawl. Visitors to the art crawl, who make a donation to any of the organizations, will receive a game card with a mystery word missing. The mystery word can be discovered by visiting the stops on the art crawl. Visitors who return a completed card will be entered into a drawing to win the art by Andi Bedsworth.

The "Art Smells Good" one-night-only show has been moved to a private location to Main Squeeze, located behind Pizza Hut on University Avenue. The reception will last from 6-9 p.m. at Main Squeeze. The show is by artist, Katherine Rhodes Fields, a visiting professor for the University of Mississippi art department. Her "Art Smells Good" show featuring her scratch and sniff series was displayed in St. Louis to record crowds. Scratch and Sniff is an ongoing series of print works that follows a direction Fields started with her series Finger Lickin' Good, in which she used chicken fat as a print medium. These works will draw you in visually, but will certainly stimulate your sense of smell!

Don't forget that the Art Crawl has transportation provided by the Double Decker bus, and it will make stops at all four locations for dropping off and picking up art crawlers at Southside Gallery, Powerhouse, University of Mississippi Museum, and Gallery 130 continuously between 7-9 p.m. Receptions this month are hosted by Cathead Vodka, Coors Beer, Old Venice Pizza Cafe, and Party Waiting to Happen.
